- Background
Philip is looking for work and Mike encourages him to not just put all his hopes behind one job lead.
- Dialogue
Philip: Brandon said he might help me to find work. It’s my only promising lead. I hope it comes to something.
Mike: Sure, but I wouldn’t get too hopeful about it. You should check a range of job sites online and apply for as many jobs as possible.
Philip: I suppose so yeah. It’s just so boring looking for jobs and quite frustrating too.
Mike: Yeah, I know, but remember, it’s not good to just rely on one lead – don’t put all your eggs in one basket!
- Don’t put your eggs in one basket
